Description

This project started as a practical lecture and was continued in the context of two Bachelor's theses that I supervised. For this, two students programmed an emotional game-playing companion and modeled two different personalities - a friendly partner and a hostile rival. Those reacted differently to game events and expressed this verbally as well as using their face.

Later, the application was revisited in the context of the externally funded project "ForGenderCare" for examining how elderly people interact with social robots. In particular, it became an entertainment component in a system that was placed in the homes of two study participants for a longer time.
